Pokemon Badge Case Printables

My daughter has been pestering me for a Pokemon badge case/box for her badges for weeks. "My badges shouldn't go into the Pokeball!"

Good point.

So with her constant nagging, I finally cooked up these two Pokemon badges cases. For my badge cases, I used A4 diamond card 160 gsm which is quite sturdy and it has a very smooth surface compared to plain paper. Plain paper works well provided if you get those with the heavier gsm weight. The sturdier the paper, the better. Your printables will last longer and kids will play longer.

The crafts are easy to make though adult supervision might be needed for the blue Pokemon badge case. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to make them. Both printables are in A4 size so be sure to have your printer paper setting prepared before printing.

Pokemon Badge Case

Step 1: Cut out the pokemon badge case. Fold along the dotted lines.

Step 2: Start off with the small flaps to make a box.

Like so. The ring just acts as a counterweight for my craft.
Step 3: Now onto the two sides of the case, put glue on the flaps right side up.
Fold the sides inwards. Let the creases guide you.
To make it stick, just press it down for a few seconds.

Step 4: Trim a little off the flap of the cover.

And you're done!

Pokemon Badge Case (blue)

To make this, you will need a piece of transparent plastic film, double-sided tape and a pen knife. Kids, please make sure you have an adult to help you with the pen knife, okay?

Step 1: Cut out the badge case and fold along the dotted lines.

Step 2: With a pen knife, carefully cut out the white rectangle piece from the cover.

Step 3: With that rectangle piece cut out, use it to cut out a piece of transparent plastic film.

Step 4: Stick the plastic film in place on the underside of the cover with double-sided tape.

Step 5: Follow steps 1-4 from the previous Pokemon Badge Case to make the case.
Hello Kitty ring not included.
Optional Step: Cut a piece of felt and place it inside the case.
You can take it up a notch by adding a bit of cotton wools/balls or
a bit of felt stuffings before covering it with a piece of felt.

So there you have it. Your very own Pokemon badge case
to keep your all your Pokemon gym badges
but what's a badge case with the gym badges, eh?

  1. This is so cute! I'm going to use it at my son's birthday party. The downloads are only showing in grayscale however. Am I doing something wrong?

    1. Hmm that is odd. Don't worry though cause you're not the first to stumble onto this problem. Try checking with your printer settings to see if it's in color mode or grayscale. You can try printing from another computer if that doesn't help. I had one email who got it to print in colour after she used another desktop.

If it's still in grayscale, drop me an email at ileeprints@gmail.com and I will send you my personal copy. :)
